Spelling Activity

This is my spelling activity. One of the activities I did is to make sentences. I had to make sentences using 10 words from my spelling sheet. I am on level 38.

Abstract - Last year we did an abstract art with Mr Johnston

Bronze - I won a bronze medal

Compass - When we get lost we use a compass

Admire - I admire someone who does photography

Mussel - My dad loves mussels

Blank - We have to draw on a blank piece of paper

Denim - My sister loves denim jeans

Invisible - My superpower is to be invisible

Terrific - We did a terrific job and we won the shield for girls soccer

The Unwritten

Inside this diary

the key locks in secrets

that have never been told

Never been seen

Never been heard

They’re hiding

They’re talking in there

observing the people opening it

listening to them

but they won’t come out

not for time not for love not for friends

When the people go

they’ll still be there forever

never come out

even when someone is calling them

sitting there alone

with no - one to tell

When someone is drawing on the cover

they see the writing there

they imagine what they’re going through

and they lock the secret within themselves

Would I feel what they’re feeling right now

Maybe they’ll come out one day

but they won’t say a thing

They are private and they will remain confidential

Maybe one of them, just one, is a special secret

that will never be revealed

One thing I think I did really well was... I used an expert and I said my information clearly and I used expression.

An element of persuasive speech that I used was... I got the audience's attention and I left them something to think about.

One thing to work on for next time is... to make more eye contact with my audience and I need to keep still

Xtramath result

This is my xtramath result. I am still average at it. I am getting more green, and less yellow, and no gray. I will be better by the end of the term.
