Write your own poem describing the object using a mixture of simile and metaphor.  Keep it simple and short.

My Poem:

Tick Tock

Tick Tock the clock was moving,
like your heart beating,

The little hand so small it was the size of a baby’s pinky,
The big hand so huge like the sky tower,
The second hand moving so fast you couldn’t keep up,

I could hear time passing by,
Tick tock tick tock.

This shows how I did with my addition. I am getting a lot better. I am not happy that I am still on Addition but I will learn all of my pluses. My most important goal is to at least get up to times tables.
