The 3rd Floor Bedroom

It all began when someone left the window open

“Hey! Who left the Window open?” There once lived a girl named Emily, she lived in an apartment. She was on the 3rd floor, there were 20 floors.

One hot day Emily wanted to go to the beach with her friends but her parents said “No, Emily you can’t go with your friends”. Emily was so angry, she said to her parents “You’re the worst parents ever” It was time for breakfast, when Emily went to the kitchen her sister didn’t know what was happening so she opened her window.

When Emily went into her room she saw that someone had opened her window and there was a bird camouflaged to look like her wallpaper. Emily thought that since her parents wouldn’t let her out then she would sneak out. What Emily didn’t think of was that she was on the third floor. Emily saw the ladder below her outside, but the ladder was too short so if she got to the bottom she would still have to jump.

Emily packed her stuff for the beach and before she left she locked her door so her parents couldn’t come in. Emily packed her bag and she threw it out the window but luckily it was just her bag and she was lucky that her expensive perfume didn’t break. When Emily climbed down the ladder, she got to the bottom of the ladder, she saw that it was a long way to jump, so she climbed the tree that was next to the ladder.

Emily finally got to the beach. She saw her friends there, they were all    together playing touch. Emily had a fun time at the beach but she knew that sneaking out wasn’t the right thing to do. So she asked her friends to drop her off at her house. When she got to her house she went up the tree then up the ladder and when she got inside she saw her parents inside her room looking worried.

When Emily confessed about everything she told them that it all happened when someone left her window open. Her parents forgave her but she was still grounded. Emily had a fun time at the beach. She was still happy to see her family even though she was grounded. Emily had an interesting day but it ended up with a happy ending.
