Washing the dishes

Write your own poem describing the actions of the person using a mixture of simile and metaphor.  Keep it simple and short.

Washing the dishes

Swish swish
Cleaning the plates shiny clean
With my soapy sponge

Swish Swish
Dishes are as clean as they’ve ever been

WOW! Those plates are sparkly like the shimmering water at night

All the dishes finished
Now I can relax
